Capstone: the smart guessing bot

To find a secret number from 1 to 100, guessing the middle each time halves the possibilities, which is called binary search. After a guess you know whether to look higher or lower, so low and high close in on the answer. A bot using this never needs more than 7 guesses.

Your task

Write guesses_needed(secret): start with low = 1 and high = 100, always guess the middle (low + high) // 2, count the guesses and return the count when the guess is right. Then print guesses_needed(73).

Stretch challenge

Make the range 1 to 1000. How many guesses at most? Why only 3 more?
