Before you choose a tutor
What good online maths tuition looks like
- The teacher starts from your child, not the chapter. A short conversation or check shows the first gap, which is often an earlier idea such as place value, tables or fractions.
- Your child writes and talks. In maths, working matters. Look for a shared whiteboard or a camera on the notebook, and a teacher who asks "how did you get that?".
- Sessions are the right length. About 30 minutes for younger children and 45 to 60 for older ones, with regular practice between lessons.
- Parents get a short update on strengths, gaps and next steps, not a list of promises.
- No guarantees. Be careful with anyone who promises marks or ranks.

Questions parents ask about online maths tuition
Which boards do you cover?
Tell us whether your child studies CBSE, ICSE, a state board or an international curriculum. The big ideas are the same, but the order and depth differ, so we start from your child's textbook and school plan.
Is online maths tuition effective?
It can be, when the lessons are interactive, the teacher can see the child's written working and the child talks and writes during the session. Ask for an introductory conversation and judge by how much your child takes part.
How much does it cost?
A term of 24 live classes costs less per class the longer the course. In India, Class 1 to 8 starts from ₹275 a class in a small group or ₹551 one-to-one, and Class 9 and 10 from ₹367 or ₹735. Prices for other countries are on the pricing page, and we confirm the exact amount in writing before you pay. If an introductory lesson or assessment has a fee, we say so up front.
Can my child join from any city in India?
Yes. Classes are online, so a child in a small town studies the same way as a child in a metro. We confirm the time and your child's availability with you first.
Do you promise marks or ranks?
No. No honest teacher can. We focus on understanding, practice and confidence, and we share a short update with parents on strengths and next steps.
What should I tell you in the enquiry?
Your child's class and board, the textbook or topic they are on, what feels hard and how much time they can give each week. A parent or guardian should make the enquiry.
