Privacy notice
This notice explains what Ashkam ("we") does with personal data collected through this website.
What we collect
- Class, software and business enquiries: your name, optional email or phone, city and country, enquiry category, message, source page and campaign tags. For a child's class, a parent or guardian should enquire; please do not include sensitive information about the child.
- Seller onboarding form: your name, mobile number, city, business name, what you sell, where you want to sell, whether you have GST registration (yes/no only — never the number), your message, and the page you came from.
- Free-offer request: your name, optional email or phone, city and country, the help you ask for, and the fact that you asked us to reply. This request does not subscribe you to unrelated marketing.
- Listing Studio accounts: your name, email, optional phone and company, a secure hash of your password, the product details and photos you upload, and the listings generated for you.
- Seller portal accounts (if we invite you): your name, email and what you share with us there.
- Technical data: a sign-in cookie if you have an account, and short-lived request data used to stop spam and abuse. We don't use advertising trackers.
- Free tools: the calculators, games and Rubik's Cube tools run in your browser. What you type into them is not sent to us. Practice scores and solve times are saved in your own browser's storage so you can see your progress, and you can clear them any time by clearing your browser data.
- Game feedback: If you choose a quick post-game rating, we store only the game slug, your selected response and the date, not a name, account, score or written message. Feedback is kept for up to 180 days. Your network address is used briefly in memory to limit spam and is not added to the feedback record.
Learner accounts
A free learner account saves a learner's progress across devices. A parent or guardian registers for anyone under 13. We keep: an email address (a parent's, for children), a first name or nickname, an age group, an optional country, the learner's goal, and the progress the site keeps in the browser (XP, daily streak, steps finished in learning paths, best scores in games and the Rubik's Cube timer). We do not ask for a surname, phone number, address or photo, and learners cannot message each other or see each other's progress. A learner or parent can download everything we hold, or delete the account and all of its progress, from the My learning page at any time. Without an account, progress stays in your own browser and is not sent to us.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry or free-offer request — with your permission to contact you about that request.
- To provide the accounts and tools you sign up for, and improve learning activities from optional post-game ratings.
- To keep the website secure.
We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who processes it for us
Our hosting and database providers store the data. If you use Listing Studio or we prepare listings for you, the product details and photos are sent to the AI provider that generates the text (Google or Anthropic). They process it on our behalf under their business terms.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and free-offer requests: until you ask us to delete them, or two years after our last contact. Accounts: while your account is open, and deleted on request. Anonymous game feedback: up to 180 days. Deleting a listing in Listing Studio deletes its photo.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, and withdraw your consent to be contacted at any time. To do so, or to raise a grievance, use the enquiry form on this website. We'll respond within 30 days.
Never share these with us on the form
Don't send PAN, GST, Aadhaar or bank numbers, passwords or OTPs through this website. We'll never ask for them.
