2. Weeks 3–4
   Our body and health

   Senses, teeth, food groups, hygiene and safety.

3. Weeks 5–6
   Water, air and weather

   Sources, uses, the water cycle and seasons.

4. Weeks 7–8
   Family, community and helpers

   People who help us and how communities work.

5. Weeks 9–10
   Our environment

   Soil, rocks, pollution and caring for nature.

6. Weeks 11–12
   Simple experiments

   Floating, sinking, magnets and shadows with safe materials.

The order and pace change to suit the learner, and the teacher adjusts after every few classes. Topics follow the learner's board or level.

How classes run

Before the first class

Each class mixes a quick recap, a new idea taught live, guided practice and a few questions to take away. Join ten minutes early for a sound and camera check, and use a laptop or desktop if the class needs screen sharing. Read what to expect in your first online class.
