1. Weeks 1–2
   Voice and breathing

   Posture, breath control and warm-ups.

2. Weeks 3–4
   Sur and taal

   Pitch, rhythm and basic exercises.

3. Week 5
   Classical basics

   Hindustani or Carnatic scales, simple ragas and compositions.

4. Week 6
   Western vocals

   Scales, harmony and song practice.

5. Week 7
   Film and devotional songs

   Learning songs with correct pitch and expression.

6. Week 8
   Performance

   Stage confidence and recording at home.

The order and pace change to suit the learner, and the teacher adjusts after every few classes. Topics follow the learner's board or level.

Who it is for

Is this course right?

Learners (Ages 6 and up) who want a teacher to explain, correct and set practice, whether they are keeping pace or need support. Tell us the board or level and the teacher starts from there. Singing classes work on breathing, posture, pitch and rhythm, then songs in the style the learner chooses. A quiet room helps, and headphones reduce echo on a video call.

How classes run

Before the first class

Each class mixes a quick recap, a new idea taught live, guided practice and a few questions to take away. Join ten minutes early for a sound and camera check, and use a laptop or desktop if the class needs screen sharing. Read what to expect in your first online class.

What Singing (vocal music) costs
