What the learner works on

1. Weeks 1–3
   Step 1: Move and talk

   Make a character move, speak and make sounds.

2. Weeks 4–6
   Step 2: Loops and events

   Repeat actions and respond to keys and clicks.

3. Weeks 7–9
   Step 3: A small game

   Add a score, a goal and a way to lose.

4. Weeks 10–12
   Step 4: Your own project

   Design something original and share it.

The order and pace change to suit the learner, and the teacher adjusts after every few classes. Topics follow the learner's board or level.

Ages 7 to 11. A child who can build a small game with variables and loops and wants to build more complex things is ready to try Python.
