Week by week

What the learner works on

1. Weeks 1–3
   Foundational number skills

   Operations, fractions, decimals, percentages and number relationships appropriate to grade.

2. Weeks 4–6
   Algebra and patterns

   Represent relationships, extend patterns and use symbols or equations to solve problems.

3. Weeks 7–8
   Geometry and measurement

   Shape, spatial reasoning, measurement, area and units from the grade's curriculum.

4. Weeks 9–10
   Data and mathematical communication

   Interpret information, choose a strategy and explain why an answer makes sense.

The order and pace change to suit the learner, and the teacher adjusts after every few classes. Always check the official bulletin for the current syllabus and dates.
